Can I revoke my consent?
Date:
07 May 2025
Yes. You can revoke your consent at any time following the same procedure as for giving it. Your revocation should be communicated to your local health authority (ASL), who will transmit the information electronically to the national database.
If reasons of emergency and urgency make it impossible for you to withdraw your consent in the manner prescribed by law, you may give a verbal statement that needs to be collected or videotaped by a doctor, with the assistance of two witnesses.
