Yes. Law10/2020 states that the donor must nominate a trusted person (trustee), who is an adult of sound mind, but not necessarily a relative, who has the duty of informing the doctor who certifies the death that consent has been given. Nominating a substitute for the trustee, on the other hand, is optional.

In order to agree to the appointment, both the trustee and the substitute must co-sign the consent form.
